Update March 19, 2020. The ACE Mentor Program of Oregon has suspended team meetings, in alignment with current public health guidelines for limiting coronavirus transmission. ACE's executive board leadership will continue to follow public health recommendations and make further changes as needed. Our goal is to preserve a quality career-mentor experience for students, while protecting the health of all students, volunteers and the community. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The ACE Mentor Program is a national non-profit organization. ACE’s Oregon branch was founded in 2006 by local Portland architecture, construction, and engineering professionals. In our first year, 28 mentor volunteers served a small group of 27 students from 6 high schools. Since then, Oregon's ACE program has experienced remarkable growth. In 2019, 103 mentors for 153 students participated in ACE locally. ACE Oregon has also awarded more than half a million dollars in college scholarships to students who are entering ACE-related careers.
